ACQUA CHIARA – Eau de Parfum

Bergamot, Lily of the Valley, Eliotropine, Patchouli
From Sappho’s fragment: “I have a beautiful little girl, her figure is like flowers made of gold: she is my love, she is called Cleide. If you give me the whole Lidia I would not give up her, if you give me my love…. I won’t give up her”. The greek poet Sappho wrote this sweet poem to sing the infinite love that she feels for her beloved child. This fragrance takes inspiration from this poem and her scent dances with the greek rimes. This fragrance tells the love of a grandfather for his little granddaughter. Her name is Chiara and this is where the title comes from. Particularly delicate fragrance, soft and evanescent. It lays on women’s skin as nicely as an imperceptible heartbeat of leaves, leaving in the ether soft notes of Lily of the Valley, Violet, Jasmine and Cyclamen. Everything is then made intense by the sweet and warm tears of benzoin.

Size: 50 ml

Caterina Sforza de’ Medici has been, in 1400,  the first ever writer of perfumed waters, cosmetics recipes and natural remedies. Dr. Giovanni Di Massimo, renowned pharmacist and perfumer, derives inspiration from that maniscript and form this high-caliber epoch of Florentine perfumery, with an aim to resurrect and continue this rich historical legacy.

All the fragrances and perfumes “i PROFUMI di FIRENZE” created by Spezierie Palazzo Vecchio are known and appreciated for their refinement, the intense use of natural raw materials and for their persistence thanks to the wise  and generous use of base notes.
