FLOWERY RICH AND CITRUS scent

Tangerine, Chamomile, Jasmine, Tuberose,  Styrax Officinalis Resine
This fragrance is dedicated to Caterina Sforza de’Medici, who, at the end of the 1400s, was the first to write a recipe book of scented waters, cosmetics and natural remedies. Caterina de ‘Medici was one of the strongest and most intelligent women in history. At the age of 25 she ruled over Imola and Forlì and proved that she could, alone, administer a state, preside over a government and command an army. But his dedication to botanical, chemical and cosmetic studies is incredible. Dr. di Massimo created his first perfume inspired by his history, studying an ancient recipe contained in his manual “Experiments de la Exellentissima Signora Caterina da Furlj matre de lo Illuxtrissimo Signor Giovanni de Medici”. This ancient recipe included: cloves, elderflower, hawthorn, cucumbers, bean water, musk, goat’s milk, camphor, turpentine, civet. Instead, our perfume, celebrating this woman, combines the gentleness of Chamomile with the citrusy comma of Mandarin and the pungent flowery of Tuberose. However, we must not forget benzoin, a resin from Thailand and Malaysia, extracted from Styrax, which has sweet almost vanilla notes and in its oriental nature remains warm and soft, daring a slightly provocative gourmand. This essence refers to the roundness of the shapes and the sensuality with which Caterina is painted by Botticelli in her spring.Pungent and penetrating like the resin of Styrax, tender but decisive the Tuberose, new and ancient like the Chamomile and the Mandarinom, this fragrance is suitable to the days of every modern queen.

Size: 100 ml, 50 ml
