WHAT IT IS: A dietary supplement based on Chondroitin sulfate, Sodium hyaluronate, Vitamin D, Melatonin, and Althaea extract. Contains 40 tablets, sufficient for 20 days of intake.

PROPERTIES: Althaea contributes to throat well-being and has an emollient and soothing action on the digestive system. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Clinical studies show that the combination of hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate, delivered by a bioadhesive agent, significantly reduces the symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux, particularly in patients with chronic cough, throat clearing, and hoarseness. PRINCIPI ATTIVI-PROPRIETÀ

VITAMINA C: L’acido ascorbico, conosciuto come Vitamina C, protegge le cellule dai radicali liberi (antiossidante), aiuta nella cicatrizzazione ed è un IMMUNOSTIMOLANTE: aumenta infatti la produzione di INTERFERONI e IMMUNOGLOBULIINE. Partecipa alla biosintesi del COLLAGENE (proteina del tessuto connettivo, pelle, ossa e cartilagine), rendendo il ferro disponibile per gli enzimi responsabili della sintesi del collagene. In mancanza di Vitamina C viene sintetizzato collagene che perde le sue proprietà funzionali e risulta più debole. Questo può determinare scorbuto, lesioni della pelle e delle gengive, osteoporosi e fragilità ossea.

VITAMINA E: è la vitamina della pelle, conosciuta anche come Tocoferolo. Il TOCOFEROLO agisce come “spazzino” sui radicali liberi ed è quindi un ottimo ANTIOSSIDANTE omolitico. Riduce inoltre la formazione di perossidi, sostanze responsabili dell’invecchiamento e dei danni ai tessuti e all’organismo in generale. Aiuta nella riparazione del tessuto connettivo, favorendo la cicatrizzazione. La vitamina E riduce il rischio di patologie quali cardiovasculopatie, cancro e malattie degenerative dell’occhio (Chrleux, Beta-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E: the protective macronutrients, 1996) e grazie al sinergismo con la vitamina C previene la perossidazione lipidica delle membrane cellulari (Pavia, Russel, Beta-carotene and other carotenoids as antioxidants, 1999).

GLUCOSAMMINA: è un amminozucchero naturalmente presente nell’organismo, noto per la sua azione ANTINFIAMMATORIA sulle cartilagini ossee e per il benessere della funzionalità articolare. E’ impiegato nel trattamento dell’osteoartrosi, patologia in cui si verifica un difetto nella biosintesi della glucosamina e dei suoi derivati (glicosaminoglicani e dei proteoglicani). Questo determina debolezza dei tessuti cartilaginei. La glucosamina ha effetti positivi sui processi degenerativi delle cartilagini, ma risulta ottima anche per i traumi. Agisce su alcuni processi infiammatori ed ha rapida efficacia sulla sintomatologia (Medinews, agenzia di stampa medico-scientifica).

SODIO IALURONATO: conosciuto anche come ACIDO IALURONICO, fa parte della famiglia dei glicosaminoglicani. E’ un componente essenziale dei tessuti connettivi e della cartilagine. Agisce proteggendo quest’ultima sia come lubrificante, sia come ammortizzatore, assorbendo gli urti causati dal movimento. In caso di problematiche articolari e perdita di cartilagine, l’acido ialuronico si comporta da sostituto e migliora lo scorrimento osseo. Viene impiegato quindi per problemi ARTICOLARI come OSTEOARTRITE, riducendone il dolore, e per il trofismo della pelle. Con l’età la presenza di questo composto nell’ organismo diminuisce e questa mancanza determina la formazione di rughe e, appunto, problematiche articolari.

CONDROITIN SOLFATO: è un mucopolisaccaride appartenente alla classe dei glicosaminoglicani. Agisce da protettore dei CONDROCITI, cellule che producono la cartilagine, ed ha anche proprietà ANTINFIAMMATORIA. La sua azione è potenziata dalla presenza di glucosamina e uno studio del 2011 (Arthritis & Rheumatism, 2011) lo ritiene utile nell’alleviare il dolore artrosico delle mani con miglioramento della funzionalità .

OLIO DI LINO (75% IN OLIO): estratto dai semi della pianta Linum usitatissimum, l’olio è ricco di acido alfa-linoleico (ALA) 45%, un acido grasso Omega 3 precursore dell’acido eicosapentaenoico (EPA) e docoesanoico (DHA). Contiene inoltre acido oleico 30% e linoleico 15%. E’ impiegato per contrastare l’INFIAMMAZIONE, proprio per l’azione degli acidi grassi contenuti. Si rivela utile per problemi ARTICOLARI e mal di schiena.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS AND MEDICAL PROPERTIES

VITAMIN C: Ascorbic acid, known as vit. C, protects cells from free radicals (anti-oxidant), it helps in cicatrization and it is an IMMUNOSTIMULANT, in fact increases the INTERFERONS and IMMUNOGLOBINS production. It participates in the biosynthesis of COLLAGEN (connective tissue, skin, bone and cartilage protein): it acts by making iron available for enzymes responsible for the collagen synthesis. In absence of vit. C collagen is synthesized, but it loses its functional properties and it becomes weaker. This can result in scurvy, skin lesions, gums, osteoporosis and bone fragility.

VITAMIN E: It contains more or less 15% of MINERAL SALTS, in particular: Silicic acid and Calcium; it also contains FLAVONOIDS.This is why it is used as mild DIURETIC (German Commission E Monograph).It is also used in inflammation of the urinary tract, as coadjuvant in the cystitis and for prostate well being. Silicon favors connective tissue and bones well-being and it also useful for nail and hair care.

GLUCOSAMINE: It is an aminosugar naturally present in the body, known for its anti-bacterial action on bone cartilages and for the well-being of joint function. It is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, a disease in which a defect occurs in the biosynthesis of glucosamine and its derivatives (glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans). This causes weakness of the cartilaginous tissues. Glucosamine has positive effects on the degenerative processes of cartilages, but is also excellent for trauma. It acts on some inflammatory processes and has rapid efficacy on symptoms (Medinews, medical-scientific press agency).

YHALURONATE SODIUM: Also known as HYALURONIC ACID, it is part of the glycosaminoglycan family. It is an essential component of connective tissues and cartilage. It acts by protecting the latter both as a lubricator and as a shock absorber, absorbing the impacts caused by the movement. In case of joint problems and loss of cartilage, hyaluronic acid acts as a substitute and improves bone flow. It is therefore used for ARTICULAR problems such as OSTEOARTHRITIS, reducing pain and for skin tropism. With age, the presence of this compound in body decreases and this lack determines the formation of wrinkles and precisely joint problems.

CONDROITIN SULFATE: It is a mucopolysaccharide belonging to the glycosaminoglycan class. It acts as a protector of CHONDROCYTES, cells that produce cartilage, and it also has ANTI-INFLAMMATORY properties. Its action is enhanced by the presence of glucosamine, and a 2011 study (Arthritis & Rheumatism, 2011) considers it useful in relieving arthritic hands pain with improved functionality.

LINE SEED with 95% OIL: Extracted from the seeds of Linum usitatissimum plant, this oil is rich in alpha-linoleic acid (ALA) 45%, an omega 3 fatty acid precursor of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docohexanoic acid (DHA). It also contains 30% oleic acid and 15% linoleic acid. It is used to counteract INFLAMMATION, due to the action of the fatty acids contained. It is useful for ARTICULAR problems and back pain.
